Foram revelados esta semana as séries e os atores e atrizes indicados para um dos prêmios mais importantes e prestigiados da televisão norte-americana: o Critic’s Choice Television Awards, promovido pela Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA). A entrega dos prêmios na edição deste ano está programada para acontecer no dia 10 de junho, no The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Pela primeira vez, os internautas também poderão acompanhar a entrega dos troféus pela internet, já que toda a cerimônia será exibida via streaming. A apresentadora desta edição será Donna Meagle, que, atualmente, está trabalhando na série Parks and Recreation.
Dentre as séries de comédia, The Big Bang Theory lidera com seis indicações. Já American Horror Story também conseguiu seis indicações, mas no segmento de telefilmes ou minisséries. Outros destaques foram The Americans, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Good Wife, Louie, New Girl e Political Animals, cada uma conquistando quarto indicações.
